Don't put actual naughty words in it, just words like 'casino' and certain ukraninan ones. And 'administrator'.

For example, putting the word "официальный" in the naughty word filter would have stopped 18 spam posts today.

See, now they make a few accounts ahead of time, come back and spam to avoid the delay for new accounts.
All you can do is ban the words the use to describe their spam, like 'Розмір', or 'wedding ring' to stop them.

There's a shitload of blocks for email domains and tlds added in the last week.
Let's see how things go, but i'm tempted to make all registrations by approval only or invitation only.
But I don't want another email to check specially one flooded with Russians and spammers daily.
Purged over 400 users accounts last few days. More to go!

I strongly encourage invite only membership. And we won't be checking the email it's there to cut the spam. If someone wants an account we can make if for them. Moderation is always a balance. Do you want users, or no spam? Do you want Nazis, or free speech?
Once a spammer has their hooks in a site, the only way to get rid of them is to stop the product they are trying to sell. Once their perceived revenue stream dries up they leave.
