According to the New York Times, citing conversations with officials from the U.S., Greenland, and Denmark, the U.S. is looking to revise its arrangement on its military posture in Greenland. Per the report, the U.S. is looking to implement an agreement where U.S. forces can stay indefinitely in the autonomous Arctic territory of Denmark, even if they become fully independent. Additionally, the U.S. is reportedly looking to gain veto powers over major investment deals in the country, as the report says that the move would in effect “box out competitors like Russia and China.” Talks have now expanded outside military matters I and are now over key resources in and around the strategically important Arctic territory.

Trump still wants Greenland. No one is surprised. His envoy reiterated Trump's desire to annex Greenland in meetings held in Greenland between US and Denmark/ Greenland authorities.
Louisiana Senator Jeff Landry landed in Greenland without invitation, dressed himself in military gear to tour Nuuk, the Capital, and imposed himself on Greenland PM.

Pause of the Permanent Joint Board on Defence: The Pentagon, under the Trump administration, announced the suspension of this 86-year-old institution (0:12-0:35), which has served as the backbone of Canada-U.S. military cooperation since 1940 (0:14-0:25).
Justification: U.S. officials cited a lack of "credible progress" on defense spending (0:44-0:48). However, the video argues this is misleading, noting that NATO confirmed in March that Canada had reached the 2% GDP spending threshold (0:53-1:01).
Canada's Strategic Response

Prior Diversification: The video asserts that Canada had already begun pivoting away from total dependence on the U.S. months prior to this announcement (4:09-4:13).
New Alliances: Canada signed a formal agreement in March with five Nordic countries (Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Norway, and Sweden) to deepen cooperation on defense production and cybersecurity (4:17-4:31).
Arctic Modernization: In April, the Canadian government announced a $35 billion investment in Arctic military expansion, including advanced "over-the-horizon" radar systems and independent patrol submarine capabilities (4:50-5:38).
Geopolitical Implications

Political Motivation: Experts cited in the video suggest this move is a "needless provocation" and a political message rather than a tactical defense decision (5:58-6:13).
Long-term Shift: The video concludes that these actions have effectively provided Canada with the political mandate to establish a more independent national defense policy, regardless of future pressure from Washington (7:40-7:52).

Anthony Scaramucci said that Carney's Davo's speech has gotten under Trump's skin and he is the one international leader that Trump fears the most. We are on a collision course with MAGA and we are all in.

I’m going to say what everyone is too scared to say.

Canada is under attack. Not with missiles. With data. With money. With useful idiots waving provincial flags while American operatives pull the strings from Michigan boardrooms.

3 million Albertans doxxed. The US Ambassador’s fingerprints on the weapon. UCP insiders in the room watching it happen. Trump officials holding secret meetings about carving up this country like it’s a real estate deal. Because to them? IT IS.

Trump said it himself. 51st state. He wasn’t joking. He never jokes.

And while all of this is happening,
@PierrePoilievre
, the man who wants to lead this country, is hiding under his desk hoping nobody asks him which side he’s on. PIERRE.

The guy who built his entire career screaming about government overreach can’t find his voice when a foreign government is actively funding the dismemberment of Canada?
What do you know, Pierre? What are you afraid of?

Because here’s what I see. A movement that appeared out of nowhere. Fully funded. Fully organized. With American tech. American strategy. American money. And an American ambassador running interference in plain sight.

This isn’t Alberta vs Ottawa.
This is foreign acquisition.
They’re not trying to free Alberta.
They’re trying to own it.
The oil. The land. The leverage.
And some of our own politicians are either too compromised, too cowardly, or too bought to stop it.

Canada is not for sale.

When Donald Trump’s special envoy to Greenland, Jeff Landry, arrived in Nuuk on Sunday, he was accompanied by physician Joseph Griffin, who told Danish broadcaster TV2 News that he had traveled to gain insight into Greenland’s healthcare system.

However, Greenland’s Department of Health told Sermitsiaq that it had not been contacted regarding any planned meetings.

“The Department of Health and Persons with Disabilities is not aware of any plans for a meeting,” the department stated.

Greenlandic health minister: “Deeply problematic”

According to Griffin, he is in Nuuk as a volunteer and has no affiliation with the U.S. government.

On Sunday, Greenlandic Health Minister Anna Wangenheim wrote on LinkedIn that she viewed the Americans’ approach as deeply problematic:

“It is deeply problematic when individuals with a political mission to make Greenland part of the United States send a so-called ‘volunteer doctor’ to Nuuk to ‘assess our needs.’”

“Greenlanders are not test subjects in a geopolitical project,” the minister wrote.

Global Trend of Rejection: The narrator argues that the movement is being rejected internationally, citing political shifts in countries like Australia and Hungary as examples of a global move away from this rhetoric (2:16-2:33).
The "Cure" for MAGA: The creator posits that the "biggest cure for MAGA is MAGA itself," suggesting that when citizens experience the practical, negative repercussions of such policies—such as economic difficulties or social division—they eventually turn against the movement (2:44-3:12).
Internal Shift in the US: The video notes that some prominent supporters and influencers in the United States have begun distancing themselves from the movement, which the narrator describes as a "snowball" effect (3:36-6:03).
Canada's Strategic Pivot: The narrator discusses how Canadian leadership is moving to diversify partnerships away from the United States, citing comments from Mark Carney about the shifting international order (6:31-7:55).
Criticism of Alberta Leadership: The video sharply criticizes Alberta Premier Daniel Smith, accusing her of using divisive "wedge issues" and referendums—specifically regarding the separation petition—to amplify anti-Ottawa sentiment (8:39-12:30).
Conclusion:
The narrator concludes with a message of hope, suggesting that society is "clawing its way out" of this political period and that the majority of people are now looking toward more stable and inclusive governance (13:36-14:21).

The cure to maga is even more maga. Sad, but true.

Investment Veto: The US is seeking an effective veto over major investment deals in Greenland, ostensibly to counter Russia and China (2:19 - 2:47).
Land Ownership: The US is demanding that land used for military bases be classified as American property in perpetuity, which critics fear could lead to a de facto takeover (3:02 - 3:43).
Resource Exploitation: There is tension regarding the rules American companies must follow when accessing Greenland's natural resources, with Greenland's Prime Minister Yens Frederick Nielsen insisting on maintaining strict environmental regulations (3:45 - 4:06).
Strategic Concerns:

Leverage and Capitulation: Negotiators are reportedly feeling pressured and worried that the Greenlandic leadership is trying to offer as many concessions as possible to prevent potential military escalation or invasion (4:37 - 5:26).
Diplomatic Tactics: The host criticizes the US appointment of Jeff Landry as a special envoy, noting his lack of clearly defined objectives and his involvement in contradictory public statements, such as the confusion surrounding a supposed 'hospital ship' for the island (5:50 - 7:19).
Political Stance: The video argues that Denmark and Greenland should adopt a more uncompromising stance, asserting their sovereignty and refusing to negotiate from a position of perceived weakness, as yielding now could lead to further erosion of their independence (7:30 - 8:31, 9:53 - 10:20).
The video concludes by warning that Greenland must avoid treating the US as a good-faith actor and should be prepared to walk away from the table to maintain its integrity (11:42 - 12:32).
