The Bloc is irrelevant. The CPC can never be pleased, even if they get exactly what they want.
If the remaining NDP vote with the Liberals, all is good.

Election? I doubt it but don't rule it out. Very slim chance thou but fuck ups are still possible. Could Carney pouch 1-3 con mp's and get his majority? Also possible. It's a tightrope walk and it will be for the next few years. The pressure for results in dire times will only compound and necessity is the mother of invention and we need to invent a new future. We have the political will, we have the tools and resources, we have the people and we have the markets we can expand to. We need to do this now and not hold back. There is no plan B.

But there’s a darker calculation now taking shape inside the party: abstention. It’s like a union walking away from the bargaining table and letting management decide what everyone’s worth. If the NDP abstains on the budget vote, they aren’t just dodging responsibility - they’re endorsing a budget that contradicts everything they claim to stand for. It would make one wonder why they exist at all. A party that chooses silence on principle doesn’t have any.
