It was a razor thin win to begin with. Her crossing is just smart.

Don't buy into the narrative that the floor crossings are "all Carney's fault and plotting".
They are 1005 the failings of the parties the MPs came from.
Too many Dippers bought into the BS line of Jagmeet 'propping up Trudeau' when anyone with a brain can see why. Whoever is the next leader needs to have the nuts to come out and say that so long as the Libs aren't trying to pass something that goes totally against NDP lines they will support them, as the alternative is the Party that will ALWAYS go against NDP policies.
People need to keep that clear in their minds.

NDP only have a shot at power when they can clearly provide a benefit for all Canadians. When they double down on policies that tune out reality they become irrelevant. Canada had two centist parties for the longest time and now we have only one. pp has turned the cpc into maplemaga and the NDP have gone from propping up the government to old man yells at clouds party. There was a time when the greens had a real shot and stole a great deal of the NDP thunder but no one is seriously thinking greens have a shot in the post Iran war world now. We need to transition off of oil and the best proponents of that have been Ukraine's long range drones and now bibi fooling shitler into bombing Iran.

We are never going back to the Regan era of signing acid rain treaties and banning CFC to save the ozone layer. The old order is dead and from the ashes a new order of middle powers seeking shelter in each others solidarity will emerge. If we don't focus all our attention on hitching our train to that ride we are doomed to be nothing but a hollowed out vassal state.
