I wonder if it's because they are still Progressive Conservatives and the lunatic alt-right populists haven't scared off mainstream voters yet?

The number tell a tale that the liberals got far more votes than the NDP but the NDP got far more seats. Still both of them got their asses handed to them by Ford getting yet another majority.
The liberals have got to ditch this luke warm centrest diatribe. It isn't working to get them elected. Tepid messaging fails vs the real deal even if it is a farce. Why vote for con lite when you can just vote for a con? I know Ontario hates to rock the boat and their current crop of leaders are insipid and uninspiring so they stuck with the devil they know. Need to tip the needle? Organize. Show up for town halls. Put the work in. Democracy isn't a vote once and AFK till the next election, get stuck in and do the work.
TLDR Ontario is lazy.
