So NAME ONE.

Or be prepared to endure 4 years of PP until that coalition trips over it's own feet like Harpers.
Disagree totally with big tent BS like the USA, that's their whole flawed system.
Better for Canadians to mature politically and accept electoral reform and multiparty alignments as a better solution.

I would vote for a Liberal if it were Freeland running the show.

There are no candidates that are viable. In order to run for office you need the confidence of the commons. The negatives are SO bad on ALL of the current crop of leadership (including pp) and potential pretenders to the throne that you could disband the entire liberal and NDP parties and start from scratch with a whole new party and still have a better shot than what any of them have right now. They have ALL overstayed their welcome with only PP having enough people that will hold their nose and vote for him right or wrong. Money needs stability and it will line up behind the cons as a result.

Freeland is the only candidate that could bolster the failing Liberals. There's a reason why Trump makes fun of and hates Freeland. She beat him in negotiations during Trump 1.0. If Singh doesn't support her candidacy(assuming Trudeau steps down and Freeland wins a leadership race) then Canada will have PP as their next Conservative PM.
Let's see if Singh pulls the plug.

If she does, she'd have to give Singh a reason to pull the plug. Something in the Budget very objectionable to NDP policy or violating past agreements with them,
Only a fool would commit suicide for no reason.

The Ballad of Justin and Chrystia
The party rose from the deathbed Canadians consigned it to in 2011 because it learned from its mistakes. There is no natural governing party in Canada. No law of nature safeguards the Liberal Party’s continuance. Canadians are wise people who will not take kindly to watching a handful of apparatchiks choose their Prime Minister. If Liberals arrogate that right to a few hundred people in Ottawa, I hope they’re alert to the risk that they could be selecting the party’s last leader.
Putting Freeland up with no deal, mandate or legitimacy will doom the party. Some will vote for her but voter enthusiasm will have a stake thrust through the heart and Liberals peddling status quo will keep the faithful but the rest will stay home. Major change of course is needed, not just cabinet shuffles and replacing JT for Freeland is just another version of this. The feds need to tackle cost of living and have some sort of coherent strategy to do that. This is why pp axe the tax slogans works. It may be impractical but at least he is offering SOMETHING. More of the same is the other option and it is 9 years past its best buy date.
